Where to Stay in Manila: Sea Residences

This was my parents' first trip to Manila - to attend our church's annual General Conference in Cuneta Astrodome. With us also were my sister and her husband, a total of 6 adults and a child. Wanting to give them a comfortable stay while in Manila, I started hunting for hotels near the venue.

What easily came to mind were Heritage Hotel along Edsa, Midas Hotel and Jen Hotel along Roxas Boulevard. But not wanting to break the bank, I looked for alternatives. That's when my research directed me to RentPad - a list of rooms, apartments and condominium units for short or long-term stay. And that's where I found Sea Residences.

Sea Residences is a condominium inside the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. It's amenities include 4 swimming pools (for adults and children), children's playground, a jogging trail and of course, their concierge. It's also ideal because you can get your grocery items from the nearby convenience store or even in SM supermarket. If you get hungry, there's also Jollibee few blocks away.

And so we got a fully furnished studio unit for Php 2,500.00/night. It has one queen-sized bed, a sofa bed, a refrigerator, an induction cooker, cooking pots and pans and kitchen utensils. hot and cold shower. It has an en-suite bathroom with It also has a balcony overlooking the pool - what a refreshing sight!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and their amenities. I might consider booking another unit when we visit Manila again.
